Used Engine Oil Vacuum Distillation
Advanced waste-oil recycling systems that recover value while reducing disposal burden and environmental impact.
Plastosonic designs used engine oil vacuum distillation plants for recycling contaminated lubricating oils into reusable base oil. The process removes water, light hydrocarbons, sludge, carbon, and degraded residues under controlled vacuum to protect valuable oil fractions.
Used Engine Oil Vacuum Distillation

Vacuum Distillation Process
- Used engine oil is heated under controlled vacuum so valuable oil fractions can be separated at lower temperatures
- The process removes water, diesel and light hydrocarbons, sludge, carbon deposits, oxidized residues, heavy contaminants, metal particles, and additive degradation products
- Recovered base oil can be reused for blending into lubricants or other industrial applications
Suitable Oils and Plant Capacities
- Suitable for used engine oil, waste lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, gear oil, industrial lubricating oil, compressor oil, turbine oil, and marine lubricating oil
- Available capacities include 500, 1,000, 2,000, 5,000, 10,000, 15,000, 20,000, and 30,000 litres/day with custom industrial capacities available
- Designed for oil recycling companies, workshops, fleet maintenance, mining, construction, marine, power plants, and waste management projects
